Using HTML and CSS, I created a website for Alex Riggs, a professional soccer player, formally with the Columbus Crew and now with St. Louis FC. The website is a great tool to help him market his personal training business, specializing in soccer training. The site is modern and easy to navigate. I also created a logo and edited video, which will be on the site.
Using WordPress, I helped create and edit a website for Mike Lindner, the owner of Results Gym in St. Peters, MO. Using WordPress, I designed a modern feel for an aging website, in addition to implementing Google Analytics to help him track site traffic. I also created flyers and a logo for the Gym that added to the overall branding message of "friendly" the gym was trying to convey.
Using Adobe InDesign, I was to create a magazine that expressed my interests, or something we would love to learn. I have always wanted to learn how to surf, so this seemed like the perfect opportunity. We were asked to create a cover page, table of contents and an article.
Using Adobe Photoshop, I redesigned a movie poster. I chose the Gunfighters of Casa Grande, a spaghetti western made in 1964. I had a lot of fun with this project, especially since I was allowed to watch the movie again for ideas.
Using Adobe Photoshop, I made a painting of the ocean. Using various brushes and strokes, this was the end result.
Using Adobe InDesign, we were requested to pick two people that inspired us and create an illustration of them. I picked Patrick Rothfuss, the author of the Name of the Wind (Kingkiller Chronicles #1) and Daniel J. Boorstin. a historian and author. Using the pen tool, I outlined the picture I had chosen and made these designs.
